I started off listening to Johnny Cash

And somehow I ended up listening to Rebel Cats from Mexico and you know how bored at home goes. You click on one thing and then another and then you got up way too loud.

Dejenme Rockanrolear - Rebel Cats. Let Me Rock-n-Roll.

Ven a Bailar - Los Leopardos. Come Dance. Whoa!

Maldito Whisky - Los Leopardos. Goddamn Whiskey. These two songs are probably my favorites of the night.

Werewolf Baby - The Flattrakkers. The only non Mexican band of the bunch. Song rocks though.

Lobo Feroz - Los Benders. Big Bad Wolf. AGH This is good too! Plus what a great band name, Los Benders.

Voodoo Rock - The Cavernarios. Fightin' music!

Eres Un Rocker - Los Rebeldes. Hahaha random Japanese rockabilly dudes. The song title translates to "You're a Rocker." Or something.

Saca la Chela - Sr. Bikini. Not sure if the song title is some kind of slang, but literally it means Bring Out the Beer. The band isn't Senior Bikini, it's Mr. Bikini. The video is done in the great(?) tradition of old school luchador movies. Around the minute mark they even give a shout out to one of my favorite songs of all time, Los Luchadores by Conjunto Africa.

Now the next two are the same song, Zombie. The first one is by Los Sleepers and according to the youtube pages they're an "obscure 60s mexican rock" band. It is a little creepy.

Now the cover by Lost Acapulco, a more contemporary band. I love the guitars on it.
